Workshop Modules
- Interpersonal Communications Styles
People are different in fundamental ways. They believe differently:
they think, recognize, imagine, perceive, understand and comprehend
differently. Knowing and understanding how these differences affect the
communication process is an invaluable tool to creating empathy.
- Coaching For Commitment and Performance
Coaching allows each person to maximize his or her own performance. It is
the environment that helps them to discover and identify their internal
strengths and a relationship that produces quality and a commitment to
performance.
- Coaching According To The Individual & Situation
Participants will discover their current leadership style. They will
also learn how to supervise people in a new way and how to use a variety of
leadership styles, while giving people the direction and support they need
to perform their jobs well and increase their satisfaction.
- Communications & Effective Listening
Communications and listening are the soul of every organization. Analysis
and solid decisions translate into clear messages that influence people to
act and feel good about themselves and their performance. Participants
will become stronger leaders as they become better communicators and
listeners. The skills learned in this workshop will increase their
confidence and ability to conduct effective business conversations with
any person with whom they work. The skills learned may be applied
to their personal relationships as well.
- Conflict Management
Constructive Conflict Management draws on the knowledge and experience of
peacekeepers, arbitrators, and mediators who are applying their considerable
abilities to one basic question "How can you find constructive ways of
resolving conflict so that people are able to express and work through
their differences without the risk of, or necessity of, damage to
one another?"
- Delegation
Participants will learn how to explain a job clearly, check on a person's
understanding of a task by asking questions, identify the process of how
to delegate a job so that the job-holder feels confident, and how to make
temporary workers feel welcome and confident.
- Goal Setting
Participants will learn to recognize the value of goals and the importance
of fundamental goal setting. They will be able to differentiate between
goals, missions, and objectives, construct objectives, execute steps
needed to succeed, and achieve their goals. They will use the Goal
Action Form to develop a work related goal.
- Stress and Time Management
Time management is really self management. Managing time means adapting
to our environment in a satisfying manner. Learn how our stressors rob
us of valuable time each and every day. This process starts by changing
our individual habits.
- Starting To Build a Dynamic Team
The team concept has traditionally been very important in most
organizations. One frequently hears the expressions "teamwork" and
"being a team player". Team building helps a group function as a unit
and fosters morale, trust, cohesiveness, communication, and
productivity. Participants will learn the basics of teambuilding and
actually build a team based on current projects of their organizational
environment.
